Questions
The things people ask first
Do the people I send to need an AttestWay account?
No. External signers open a secure link from their email and confirm their identity with a one-time code sent to that same address. There’s nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
How do you prove a signed document hasn’t been altered?
Every completed document carries a cryptographic integrity fingerprint recorded at signing time. Open the document, choose “Verify integrity”, and AttestWay re-checks the file against that fingerprint and tells you whether it still matches.
Can I control the order signers sign in?
Yes. Send in parallel so everyone can sign as soon as they’re notified, or in a set order so each person is only notified once the people before them have signed.
Where are my documents stored?
Documents are kept in private, encrypted object storage and are only ever served through short-lived signed links — never public URLs. You can export or permanently delete everything from Settings at any time.
What does AttestWay cost?
AttestWay is free to use until we launch paid plans. No card is required and nothing can be auto-charged. When paid plans go live, accounts move to our Basic plan unless you choose to upgrade — we will always ask first.
