About AttestWay
We build the boring part of an agreement so it holds up later.
AttestWay is an electronic signature platform built by Enemial Technologies (Pty) Ltd in Gaborone, Botswana. We turn the print-sign-scan-email loop into a link, and we make sure that what comes out the other end is something you can actually prove.
Why we built it
Signing is the step where deals stall
The document is agreed. Everyone has read it. Then it goes out for signature and nothing happens for a week — because someone is looking for a printer, someone else scanned page three upside down, and a third person is travelling.
The tools that solve this were mostly designed elsewhere: priced in foreign currency, billed on cards a lot of African businesses do not use, and built on the assumption that everyone you deal with already has an account somewhere.
AttestWay is our answer to that. Same rigour — verified identity, timestamps, a tamper-evident record — without asking your counterparty to join anything or install anything.
What the platform actually does
- Upload a PDF and place signature, initials, name, date, and text fields exactly where they belong
- Route it to signers in a set order or all at once, with reminders sent automatically
- Verify each external signer with a one-time passcode sent to their email
- Return a finalised PDF to every party with signatures embedded and the audit trail attached
- Let you re-verify the integrity of any completed document, long after it was signed
What we hold to
Four things we refuse to compromise on
Proof, not just a picture of a signature
Pasting a signature image into a PDF takes thirty seconds and proves nothing. Every AttestWay document carries a verified identity, a timestamp, an audit trail, and a cryptographic fingerprint you can re-check years later.
The signer should never have to sign up
The person you need a signature from is usually the one with the least patience for your software. They open a link, confirm a one-time code, and sign — no account, no app, no download.
Nobody gets charged by surprise
We do not store a card in order to auto-charge it later. When we start billing, you will be told in advance and asked first — and you can stay on a free tier if that is what suits you.
Your documents stay yours
Files live in private, encrypted storage and are only ever served through short-lived signed links. You can export everything, or permanently delete it, from Settings at any time.
Where we are today
Early, and honest about it
AttestWay is a young product from a small team. The signing, verification, and audit pieces are live and in daily use. Payments are the part we are still finishing — we want local African payment options in place before we ask anyone for money, rather than forcing everyone onto a foreign card rail.
If something is missing or in your way, tell us. At this size we can still change the product around what you actually need.
Start with what fits
Pay per document when signing is occasional, or move to a subscription once it becomes routine. Cancel any time.
